Airport Meet and Greet:
The Green Cab Company will meet and greet participants when they arrive both at Oliver Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg for the connection to Cape Town International Airport, the final destination. This service will be available for all delegates arriving on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th November and departure on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December.
Delegates arriving at Cape Town International Airport which is located 35 km from the small town of Stellenbosch where the conference will be hosted, in the heart of the South African Winelands. Free shuttles will be available to ferry you to your respective hotels (AFC-selected hotels i.e. Stellenbosch University & Stellenbosch lodge – see Accommodation).
As mentioned, personnel from our transport partner, Green Cab will greet you at Cape Town International Airport and show you to the shuttle pick up and drop off times. The shuttle will run at pre-determined times, therefore some delegates may have to wait at the airport for a while until the next shuttle comes. Shuttle times will be arranged around the time slots when the most arrivals can be picked up. The same goes for the departure times.
Daily shuttle to and from Spier, Conference Venue to the Town of Stellenbosch: On 26th – 29th November, during the conference days, transport will also be provided from Stellenbosch University to the Conference venue at Spier Wine Farm.
